| Chocolate Peanut Butter Apples
6 - 8 medium size apples
6 - 8 wooden skewers
1 cup of semi sweet chocolate mini chips
1 cup of peanut butter flavored chips
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
Wash the apples and dry thoroughly. Insert wooden skewer into each apple. Set aside. Melt the mini chips and peanut butter chips with oil in top of double broiler or in a heavy 1 1/2 quart saucepan over low heat, stir constantly until smooth. Remove from heat, dip apples in mixture, tilting pan as needed. Twirl to remove excess coating, place apples on waxed paper covered cookie sheet. Refrigerate until firm. Makes 6 - 8 |
