Peachy Ham Balls

1 pound of ground cooked ham
1/3 cup of fine dry bread crumbs
2/3 cup of evaporated milk
brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon of ground cloves
8 canned cling peach halves
1 tablespoon of prepared mustard

Combine the ground ham, bread crumbs, evaporated milk, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and cloves and shape into 8 balls. Drain the peach halves and reserve 1/4 cup syrup. Place 8 peach halves, cut side up, in a shallow, buttered baking dish and fill hollow of each half with a ham ball. Combine 1/2 cup of packed brown sugar, mustard and reserved peach syrup and pour over ham balls. Bake in 350ºF. oven for 15 minutes. Baste the ham balls with liquid in pan and bake for 15 minutes longer.
