1/2 cup of butter or margarine 2 tablespoons of finely chopped onion 1 medium size green pepper, finely chopped 4 lemon slices 1 whole dill pickle, finely chopped 1 cup of vinegar 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce 2 tablespoons of chili sauce 1 teaspoon of firmly packed brown sugar
Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan. bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes. Use sauce for barbecue beef, pork, or chicken. Yield: about 2 cups |
