Chili Barbecue Sauce

2 cups of vinegar
2 cups of catsup
1/2 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon of chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 1/2 teaspoons of coarse black pepper
1/2 teaspoon of barbecue spice
Bottled hot sauce to taste

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan: simmer for 30 minutes or till sauce is the consistency you prefer. Serve with franks or burgers.
