| Four Herb Basting Sauce
1/2 cup of salad oil 1/2 cup of lemon juice 1/2 cup of wine vinegar 1/4 cup of soy sauce 1 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper 1 teaspoon each of basil, thyme, marjoram, savory
Combine all ingredients. Shake or stir and pour into glass jar with screw top. Keep covered in refrigerator until needed. Stir again before using. Makes about 2 cups of sauce. Use to baste lamb or chicken while roasting. Delicious on broiled butterfly shrimp
