Caper Sauce: In a small mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon of undrained capers. Serve with charcoal broiled trout.
Chicken Brush On Sauce : Combine one 5 ounce bottle (2/3 cup) of Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 cup of salad oil, 1/4 to 1/3 cup of lemon juice, and 1 clove garlic, minced. Use as a basting sauce for chicken or turkey. Heat the remaining sauce to pass in bowl. Makes about 1 1 3/ cups of sauce.
Onion Sauce: Brown 2 tablespoons of sugar in 1 tablespoon of fat, add 2 medium onions, sliced: cook until almost tender. add 1 tablespoon of all purpose flour, brown lightly, Add 1 cup of canned condensed beef broth, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, salt to taste, cook until smooth. Makes about 2 cups of sauce.
