| Kabob Barbecue Sauce
2/3 cup of vinegar 3 cups of tomato juice 1/4 cup of brown sugar, packed 1/4 cup of prepared garlic salt 2 teaspoons of salt 1/2 teaspoon of pepper 2 small onions, peeled and sliced 1/2 cup of ketchup 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
Combine all ingredients in a 1 1/2 quart agate or enamel saucepan. Stir, heat to boiling point, then lower heat and simmer 20 minutes. Keep hot on grill until kabobs are ready. Makes about 4 1/2 cups of sauce. Brush kabobs while cooking. Serve remaining sauce with cooked kabobs and rice.
