Savory Chicken Barbecue sauce

1/2 cup of salad oil
1 1 /4 cups of water
2 tablespoons of chopped onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 1/2 teaspoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of chili powder
1 teaspoon of paprika
1 teaspoon of pepper
1/2 teaspoon of dry mustard
a dash of cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons of vinegar
1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon of bottled hot pepper sauce

Combine all ingredients. Simmer or 30 minutes. As chicken broils, brush with sauce.
