1 tablespoon of shortening 1 pound of chuck, cut in 1" pieces 1 medium onion, chopped 1 medium green pepper, chopped 1 can of tomato soup 1 can of water 1/4 cup of chili sauce 1 tablespoon of prepared mustard 1 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder | |
Sauté the onions in oil, then remove. Brown meat. Add all other ingredients, except mushrooms. Simmer for 1/2 to 2 hours. Add mushrooms and more wine if desired. Serve over wide noodles.
