| Beef Stroganoff #1
1 pound of beef tenderloin or sirloin steak 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine 2 cups of sliced fresh mushrooms 1/2 cup of chopped onion 1/2 cup of water 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon of instant beef bouillon granules 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1 cups of sour cream 2 tablespoons of flour hot cooked noodles Paprika
Slice beef thinly across the grain into bite sized strips. In a medium skillet, brown meat in hot butter over medium high heat, stirring occasionally. Add mushrooms and onion, sauté for 3 to 4 minutes or until onion is tender crisp. Stir in water, Worcestershire, bouillon granules and salt: bring to a boil. IN a small bowl, stir together sour cream and flour, stir into meat mixture. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick and bubbly, cook and stir for 1 minute more. Serve over hot noodles, sprinkle with paprika. Makes 6 servings
