| Oven Beef Ragout
1 1/2 pound of boneless beef 1 can of beef consommé 3/4 cup of water 1/2 cup of instant flour 1/2 pound of mushroom caps 1/4 pound of small white onions 1 teaspoon of salt 1/8 teaspoon of pepper |

Cut the beef into 1 inch cubes. Combine all ingredients in a 2 1/2 quart casserole and cover. Bake at 350ºF. for 30 minutes, then stir. Cover and bake for 2 hours - 2 hours 30 minutes or until beef is tender.
