| Sausage "N Cheese Turnovers
1 (10-ounce) can of refrigerated big flaky biscuits 1/2 pound of Italian bulk sausage 1/4 teaspoon of Italian seasoning 1 (4-ounce) can of mushroom pieces and stems, drained 1 cup (4 ounces) of shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 to 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese |

Heat oven to 350ºF. Grease a cookie sheet. Separate dough into 10 biscuits; press or roll each to a 5-inch circle. In a medium bowl, combine browned sausage, seasoning, mushrooms, and mozzarella cheese. Spoon about 3 tablespoons meat mixture onto center of each flattened biscuit. Fold dough in half over filling; press edges with fork to seal. Brush tops with beaten egg; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Place on prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until deep golden brown. Makes 10 sandwiches.
