| | Beef & Pea Casserole
1 pound of ground beef 1 medium onion, chopped one 10 3/4 ounce can of condensed tomato soup 1/3 cup of water 2 cups of cooked noodles one 8 ounce can of peas, drained* one 4 ounce can of sliced mushrooms, drained*
Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet, drain off excess fat. Combine with remaining ingredients. Put into a 2 quart casserole. Bake, covered, at 350ºF. for 30 minutes, or until heated through. To serve, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garnish with pimento strips.
* The liquid from the peas or mushrooms may be substitutes for 1/3 cup water. |
