| Beef in Burgundy
2 pounds of sirloin, cut in strips 1/4 cup of salad oil 2 large onions, sliced thin 2 tablespoons of tomato paste or catsup 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon of salt, pepper to taste 1 can of beef broth 1 can of cream of mushroom soup 2 tablespoons of paprika 2 bay leaves 1 1/2 cup of burgundy 1 teaspoon of chopped parsley 1 can of sliced mushrooms |

Sauté onions in oil, then remove. Brown meat. Add all other ingredients, except mushrooms. Simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Add mushrooms and more wine if desired. Serve over wide noodles.
