Ground Beef Dinner in a Dish

1 pound of lean ground beef
4 stalks celery, sliced
2 large onions, diced not fine
4 medium carrots, cut in rounds
2 beef cubes
2 cups of water
1 cup of uncooked elbow macaroni


In a 10" deep skillet brown the ground beef, drain off any fat, add all other ingredients, cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until macaroni is done, taste and adjust seasoning, adding salt and pepper to taste. During cooking add more water if needed. For a change add 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder or more to taste.
