| | Layered Hamburger Bake
1 pound of ground beef 1 medium onion, chopped 4 medium potatoes, pared and sliced 1/4 teaspoon of pepper one 10 1/2 ounce can of condensed vegetable soup one 10 3/4 ounce can of condensed cream of mushroom soup 1/2 cup of water
Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet; drain off excess fat. Put half of the potatoes into a greased 2 quart casserole. Top with half the meat mixture; repeat. Sprinkle with pepper. Combine vegetable soup, mushroom soup and water. Pour over meat. Bake, covered at 350ºF. or until potatoes are tender. 4 servings |
