| | Mock Chop Suey Casserole
1 pound of ground beef 3/4 cup of chopped onion 2 cups of chopped celery one 10 3/4 ounce can of condensed cream of chicken soup one 10 3/4 ounce can of cream of mushroom soup 1/2 cup of uncooked white rice 2 cups of boiling water 1 tablespoon of soy sauce one 5 ounce can of chow mein noodles
Brown the ground beef in a skillet; drain off excess fat. Combine with remaining ingredients, except chow mein noodles. Put into a 13x9 inch baking dish. Bake, covered, at 350ºF. for 45 minutes or until rice is tender. Uncover, sprinkle with chow mein noodles. Bake an additional 10 minutes, or until noodles are heated through. 6 servings |
