| Pecan Cabbage Toss
4 cups of coarsely shredded cabbage 1/2 cup of shredded carrot 1/4 cup of sliced green onion 1 tablespoon of margarine or butter, melted 1 teaspoon of Dijon style mustard 1/4 cup of chopped pecans |

In a large saucepan combine the cabbage, carrot, onion, 2 tablespoons of water, 1/8 teaspoon of pepper. Toss to mix. Cook, covered, over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes or until crisp tender, stirring once. Drain. Combine the margarine and mustard. Stir in pecans. Pour over cabbage mixture, toss. Season to taste. Serves 4
