| | Cherokee Casserole
1 1/2 pounds of ground beef 1 large onion, chopped 1/2 teaspoon each of garlic salt, oregano, pepper 1 teaspoon of salt one 16 ounce can of whole tomatoes 1 cup of cooked rice 1 can of mushroom soup 1 1/4 cup of shredded cheese
Brown the ground beef with onion and seasonings in large skillet, stirring until crumbly. Add tomatoes, mixing well. Simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in rice and soup. Spoon into casserole. Sprinkle with cheese Bake at 350ºF. until cheese is melted.
