Make-Ahead Brunch Pork Bake

1 pound of bulk pork sausage
6 eggs, beaten
2 cups of light cream
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of ground mustard
1 cup (4 ounces) of shredded Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cups of French fried onions

Crumble sausage into large skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until browned; drain well. Stir in beaten eggs, cream, salt, mustard, 1/2 cup cheese and 2/3 cup of French fried onions; mix well. Pour into greased 12x8-inch baking dish. Refrigerate, covered, 8 hours or overnight. Bake, uncovered, at 350ºF. for 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Top with remaining cheese and onions; bake, uncovered, 5 minutes or until onions are golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Serves 6.
