Crab Meat A La King

2 tablespoons of butter or margarine
1 tablespoon of flour
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of pepper
1/4 teaspoon of celery salt
1 cup of heavy cream
2 hard cooked eggs, chopped
1 tablespoon of finely cut chives
1 pound of cooked crab meat, all bones removed
1/4 cup of sherry
buttered toast
1 teaspoon of paprika

Heat butter or margarine in chafing dish over hot water. Stir in smoothly flour, salt, pepper, and celery salt. Add cream and stir until mixture is hot and beginning to thicken. Add eggs, chives, and crab meat. Mix and let heat thoroughly. Add sherry a little at a time, stirring gently into mixture. Serve on buttered toast. Add sprinkling of paprika to each serving. Makes 4 to 6 servings
