Creamed Deviled Crab Meat

3 tablespoons of butter or margarines
1 tablespoon of minced peeled onion
3 tablespoons of flour
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of dry mustard
1/4 teaspoon of paprika
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
1 cup of milk
one 3 ounce can of chopped broiled mushrooms
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
2 hard cooked eggs, cut coarsely
one 6 1/2 ounce can of crab meat, flakes and bone removed
4 slices of toast or crackers

Melt butter or margarine in chafing dish. Cook onion 5 minutes. Stir in flour and seasonings smoothly. Stir in milk gradually. Cook, stirring until slightly thickened. Add mushrooms and their liquid. Stir in lemon juice and Worcestershire. Add eggs and crab meat. Mix and let heat thoroughly. Serve on toast or crackers. Makes 4 servings
