| Creamed Ham on Toast
2 tablespoons of butter or margarine 3 tablespoons of flour 2 1/2 cups of milk 1/8 teaspoon of pepper one 4 1/2 ounce can of deviled ham 6 slices of buttered toast 3 hard cooked eggs, sliced
Melt butter or margarine in chafing dish. Stir in flour smoothly and cook 1 or 2 minutes. Add milk gradually. Continue to stir and cook until thickened. Add seasoning and deviled ham, and mix well. Serve hot creamed mixture over buttered toast. Garnish with sliced egg. Makes 6 servings
