Hot -n- Sweet Barbecued Chicken

1/4 cup of salsa
1/4 cup of catsup
1/4 cup of orange marmalade
1 tablespoon of vinegar
1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
2 to 2 1/2 pounds of meaty chicken pieces, breasts, thighs, and drumsticks

For the sauce, in a small mixing bowl stir together the salsa, catsup, orange marmalade, vinegar, chili powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Set aside. Skin the chicken. Rinse chicken and pat dry with paper towels. In a covered grill arrange medium hot coals around a drip pan. Test for medium heat above the pan. Place the chicken on grill rack over drip pan. Cover and grill for 50 to 60 minutes or until the chicken is tender and no longer pink. Brush the chicken generously with sauce during the last 10 minutes of grilling. Or, arrange the chicken in a 2 quart rectangular baking dish. Bake uncovered, in a 375ºF. oven for 30 minutes. Brush generously with the sauce. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes more or until tender and no longer pink. Transfer the chicken to a warm platter. Makes 4 servings
