Braised Turkey Wings
1/3 cup of flour 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/8 teaspoon of paprika 4 large turkey wings 3 tablespoons of butter 1/2 cup of tomato juice 4 small onions 1 bay leaf 1 clove
Season flour with salt and paprika. Place in paper bag and add turkey wings, tossing until well coated with flour mixture. Melt butter in Dutch oven. Add turkey and brown well. Add tomato juice, onions, bay leaf, and clove. Cover tightly and simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until turkey is tender. Add more tomato juice as needed during cooking, and turn wings several times. Serve turkey, onion s and pan juices on bed of cooked noodles. Serves 4 |
