| Barbecued Beef Sandwiches
2 cups of thinly sliced cooked beef or pork 2 tablespoons of instant minced onion 1 tablespoon of brown sugar 1 teaspoon of paprika 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano, crushed 1 teaspoon of chili powder 1/2 teaspoon of cracked pepper 1/4 teaspoon of salt 1 bay leaf 1 clove garlic, minced 1 cup of ketchup 1/4 cup of water 1 tablespoon of salad oil 1/4 cup of tarragon vinegar 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce 2 or 3 drops of liquid smoke
Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW 4 to 6 hours. Remove and discard bay leaf. Serve hot over French rolls or toast. Makes 4 or 5 servings
