French Onion Soup 3a

3 large onions, thinly sliced
1/4 cup of margarine or butter
4 cups of beef broth
1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon of salt
4 to 5 slices of French bread, toasted
1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

In a slow cooker, combine onions and margarine or butter, broth, Worcestershire sauce and salt. Cover and cook on HIGH 4 to 6 hours. Pour soup into individual bowls. Top each bowl with toasted French bread and sprinkle with cheese. Makes 4 servings
