| Curry Sauce
1 chopped onion 1/2 cup of chopped ham 2 bacon slices, crumbled 1/4 cup of curry powder 1 tablespoon of flour 1 chopped apple 1/4 cup of chopped kumquat 1 tablespoon of tomato paste 1 tablespoon of lemon juice 1 tablespoon of honey 2 cups of chicken broth
Sauté onion, ham, and bacon over medium heat until golden. Stir in curry powder. Cook 1 minute more. Blend in flour. Add apple, kumquat, tomato paste, lemon juice, and honey. Pour in chicken broth. Simmer for 25 minutes. Cool. Makes 4 cups |
