| Betty Carter's Refrigerator Pickles
12 pounds of very small cucumbers 1 onion, sliced 4 cups of sugar 4 cups of vinegar 1/2 cup of salt 1 1/3 tablespoons of celery seed 1 1/3 tablespoons of mustard seed 1 1/3 teaspoons of turmeric
Slice cucumbers and onion and place in gallon jars. Mix remaining ingredients well. Pour mixture over cucumbers. Screw lids on tightly. Place in refrigerator. Let stand 5 days before tasting. Will keep for a year. This recipe yields ??
