one 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 ounce can of minced clams 2 tablespoons of minced onion 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine 1 tablespoon of catsup A few Drops of bottled hot pepper sauce 1 cup of diced sharp process American cheese 2 tablespoons of chopped pitted ripe olives 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
Drain clams, reserving 1 tablespoon of liquor. Cook onion in butter till tender but not brown; add clams, reserved clam liquid and remaining ingredients. heat till cheese melts and mixture is hot. Makes 1 1/4 cups. Serve with crackers and chips |
