| | Hearty Clam Delight
two 3 ounce packages of cream cheese 2 teaspoons of lemon juice 2 teaspoons of grated onion 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce 3 or 4 drops of bottled hot pepper sauce 1/4 teaspoon of salt
one 7 to 7 1/2 ounce can of minced clams, chilled and drained 1 tablespoon of minced parsley
Stir cream cheese to soften. Add lemon juice, onion, Worcestershire, hot pepper sauce and salt. Beat with rotary or electric beater till light and fluffy or use electric blender. Stir in clams and parsley. Serve with crackers or chips and crisp relishes. Makes about 1 1/2 cups |
