| Cowboy Sauce
1/2 cup of water 1 teaspoon of arrowroot sauce 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce 2 tablespoons of Nellie & Joe's Key Lime Juice 2 tablespoons of salad oil 2 teaspoons of liquid barbecue sauce 2 teaspoons of Kitchen bouquet 1 pinch sweet 'n Low sweetener, to taste
Mix arrowroot and water until smooth and well blended. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well. Check for sweetness and adjust if desired. Heat in sauce pan over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Serve hot or at room temperature. refrigerate unused portions. Makes about 1 cup. Great over grilled steaks, pork chops, chicken of grilled fish. |
