| | Cheese Sauce #3
1/2 cup of milk one 4 ounce package of sharp Cheddar cheese, cubed 1 tablespoon of butter or margarine, softened 1 tablespoon of all purpose flour 1/8 teaspoon of salt 1/8 teaspoon of dry mustard
1.Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add all ingredients. Top with cover and process until smooth.
2.Pour into a saucepan. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly.
3. Serve Cheese sauce immediately over vegetables. Yield: 3/4 cup
Microwave: To microwave step 2, pour mixture into a 2 cup glass measure. Microwave at MEDIUM HIGH (70% power) for 2 1/2 minutes, stirring after 1 1/2 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. |
