Chinese Mustard Sauce
3/4 cup of ketchup 1/4 cup of water 1 1/2 tablespoons of dry mustard 1 teaspoon of salt
Combine all ingredients and mix smoothly. Chill. Makes about 1 cup of sauce. Serve with barbecued or baked spareribs, fried shrimp and fried fish sticks. Usually paired with sweet-sour sauce in Chinese menus. |
