| Herb N Basting Sauce
3/4 cup of finely chopped onion 1 clove garlic, minced 1/4 cup of salad oil or olive oil one 12 ounce can of pear nectar 1/2 cup of white wine vinegar 1/4 cup of honey 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon of prepared horseradish 1 teaspoon of dry mustard 1 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of thyme 1/4 teaspoon of rosemary 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
Cook the onion and garlic in hot oil until tender but not brown. Add the remaining ingredients; simmer uncovered for 5 minutes. Use for marinating and basting poultry. Pass extra sauce in a bowl. Makes 3 1/2 cups of sauce
