| Hot Butter Pecan Sauce
1/4 cup of finely chopped pecans 1/4 cup of butter or margarine 1/2 cup of sugar 1/4 cup of water 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla Vanilla Ice cream
In a small saucepan, cook pecans in butter over medium heat until golden. Stir in sugar and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, about 5 minutes or until slightly thickened, stirring often. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Serve warm over ice cream. Makes about 1/2 cup |
