Lemon Sauce
1/2 cup of sugar 1 tablespoon of cornstarch 1/8 teaspoon of salt 1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg 1 cup of boiling water 2 tablespoons of butter 1 1/2 tablespoons of lemon juice
Blend sugar, cornstarch, salt, and nutmeg. Gradually add boiling water, stirring constantly, and cook over low heat for 5 minutes, or until thick and clear. Add butter and lemon juice.
