Tomato Sauce (1 Pt)
1 teaspoon of olive oil 1 cup of chopped onion 2 garlic cloves minced 1/2 cup of dry white wine 2 tablespoons of tomato paste 2 teaspoons of dried basil 2 teaspoons of dried oregano 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper One 14.5 ounce can of diced tomatoes with basil garlic and ore undrained one 8 ounce can of no-salt added tomato sauce
Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic, and sauté 5 minutes. Stir in wine and remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 15 minutes. (Serving size: 1/3 cup)
