1/2 clove garlic 1/2 cup of butter or margarine 1 teaspoon of minced chives 1/4 teaspoon of ground savory 1/4 teaspoon of basil 1/4 teaspoon of ground marjoram 1/4 teaspoon of hickory salt 1/4 teaspoon of salt 1/8 teaspoon of pepper 1 teaspoon of lemon juice A dash of hot sauce
Rub inside of bowl with garlic; discard garlic. Add butter; beat until light an fluffy. Add remaining ingredients, mixing well. Store in a covered container in refrigerator until ready to use. Serve steak butter at room temperature on hot steak. Yield: 1/2 cup |
