| Teriyaki Glaze
1/4 cup of unsweetened pineapple juice 1/4 cup of reduced sodium soy sauce 1/4 cup of dry sherry* 2 tablespoons of brown sugar 2 teaspoons of cornstarch 1 teaspoon of ground ginger 1 clove garlic, minced
Combine ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and cook 1 minute, stirring constantly until thickened. Serve over chicken or fish. Yield: 3/4 cup
*1/4 cup of unsweetened pineapple juice may be substituted for sherry |
