Doughnut Holes 2

1 1/2 cup of all purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/3 cup of  sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of  milk
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon of butter or margarine, melted
Vegetable oil
1/2 cup of  sugar
1 teaspoon of  ground cinnamon

Sift together flour, baking powder, 1/3 cup sugar and salt. Add milk, egg, and butter. Mix until smooth. Drop batter by teaspoonfuls into deep oil heated to 375ºF.  Fry until golden brown, turning once. Drain well. Combine 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon; stir well. Roll doughnuts in cinnamon mixture until coated. Serve warm. Yield: about 3 1/2 dozen.
