| Quick Strawberry Doughnuts
one 10 ounce can of biscuits Ripe strawberries Oil for frying |

Heat oil to 365ºF. Halve biscuits and flatten into rounds 1/8-inch thick. Place a strawberry, coated with sugar, in center of each round. Gather edge to the top and twist or pinch to seal. Fry in oil, a few at at time, about 2 minutes, or until browned, turning occasionally. Drain. Sift sugar generously over hot doughnuts and serve immediately. (Interior of doughnut is very juicy!) 4 Servings
