1/2 cup of mashed potatoes
1/4 cup of warm water
1 Egg
1/2 cup of milk
3/4 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of butter
3 1/4 cups of flour
1/4 cup of sugar

Let rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk (1-1 1/2 hours). Punch down. Knead again. Roll out on a lightly floured board to a thickness of 1/4". Cut out using a floured doughnut cutter. Cover.
