Beat 2 egg yolks and sugar. Add vanilla, milk, salt. Stir over medium flame until spoon is coated. Beat 2 egg whites adding 3 tablespoons sugar to form peaks. Add to eggnog and mix well. Serve with brandy or rum and nutmeg.
