| Holiday Eggnog 6a
12 eggs 1 1/2 cup of sugar 1/4 teaspoon of salt 1 quart of heavy cream 1 quart of milk 1 quart of bourbon whiskey or brandy 1 cup of rum |

Beat egg whites until stiff. Add 1/2 cup sugar. Set aside. Beat egg yolks, 1 cup sugar and salt until very light. Combine egg mixtures and stir until thoroughly blended. Add 1 quart heavy cream, beaten, 1 quart milk and 1 quart whiskey. Beat well. Add 1 cup rum. Pour into a gallon jug. Pour extra in a quart jar. Shake or stir before serving. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Serves 30. Very good without alcohol. Kids love it!
Holiday Eggnog 6b
6 eggs 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1 cup of sugar 1 tablespoon of rum extract or 1 cup of rum 1 quart of milk 2 cups of whipping cream
Beat eggs until light and fluffy. Add salt and sugar, beat until lemon colored. Stir in rum and milk. Blend in whipping cream. Chill for 3 hours. Sprinkle with nutmeg and serve.
Holiday Eggnog 6c
1 quart of fresh commercially prepared eggnog 1 half pint of heavy cream 3 to 4 oz. Southern Comfort or rum or brandy (to your taste) Nutmeg
1. Mix all ingredients at least one hour before serving with a half teaspoon of ground nutmeg. Cool in refrigerator.
2. When ready to serve, pour into glasses and sprinkle nutmeg on top before serving.
