Williamsburg Holiday Eggnog

1/4 cup of sugar
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of ginger
1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
6 well beaten eggs
2 quarts of orange juice, chilled
1/2 cup of lemon juice, chilled

1 quart of vanilla ice cream
1 quart of ginger ale, chilled
nutmeg

Beat sugar and spices into beaten eggs. Stir in chilled orange and lemon juices. Cut ice cream in  chunks, place in punch bowl. Slowly pour ginger ale down side of bowl. Gently stir in egg mixture. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Makes 20 servings
