| Cod Sailor Style
2 pounds of cod steaks, about 1 inch thick 2 cups of canned tomatoes, sieved 1/4 cup of chopped green olives 2 tablespoons of capers 1 tablespoon of parsley 1 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of pepper 1/2 teaspoon of oregano
Put cod steaks into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Combine tomatoes, olives, capers, parsley, salt, pepper and oregano in a saucepan. Bring to boiling and pour over cod. Bake at 350ºF. 25 to 30 minutes, or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. 4 servings
