| Garlic Sauce for Fish
2 cups of Fish Velouté 1 clove garlic 1 tablespoon of diced green pepper 1 teaspoon of diced peeled onion 1 teaspoon of curry powder 1/16 teaspoon of turmeric 1/16 teaspoon of powdered cloves 1/1/16 teaspoon of powdered cinnamon 1 tablespoon of butter
Prepare velouté. Peel garlic, mash. Combine with remaining ingredients and stir and heat for 3 minutes over low heat. Discard garlic. Stir remaining mixture into velouté. Bring to a boil. Makes about 2 cups sauce. Serve at once with grilled, broiled or baked fish, with baked oysters or a barbecue of fish and oysters.
