Barbecue Burgers

3/4 cup of Kabob Barbecue Sauce
1 pound of chuck steak, ground
1/2 cup of diced celery
1 tablespoon of finely cut parsley
1/4 teaspoon of marjoram
1/4 teaspoon of thyme
1 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon  of pepper
3 English muffins
3 tablespoons of butter
1 large tomato, peeled

Make 1/2 recipe for Kabob Barbecue sauce, keep it warm. Combine the meat, celery, parsley, herbs and seasonings. Add 1/4 cup of barbecue sauce. Mix, shape into 6 patties.
Grill patties above glowing coals until done as desired, turning them once or twice. When patties go on the grill, split and toast muffins, butter them lightly. Cut tomato in 6 slices. Place 1 slice on each toasted and buttered muffin half. Top with hot burger patty. Add spoonful of barbecue sauce. Serve at once. Makes 6 servings
