| Chicken Broilercue
1/4 cup of salad oil 1/4 cup of sauterne 1/4 cup of chicken broth 2 tablespoons of lemon juice 2 tablespoon of apple jelly 1 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of MSG 1 teaspoon of snipped parsley 1/2 teaspoon of prepared mustard 1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce a dash each of celery seed, rosemary, and pepper 2 ready to cook broilers (2 to 2 1/2 pounds each), halved lengthwise |

Combine all ingredients except chicken, beat out lumps of jelly with rotary beater. Brush the chicken with the sauce and place bone side down of grill. Broil over slow coals, turning occasionally and basting frequently, about 1 hour or until the meat is tender and the skin is crisp and dark. Serves 4
